Domestic Violence and Sexual Assault

Neglect and Abuse

Children's Justice Center   Provides support services in a homelike facility for children who have experienced significant physical or sexual abuse.  Call 801-851-5500.

Family Support and Treatment Center      Offers child-abuse prevention, therapy, and a crisis nursery. 

 

Protection and Advocacy

Adult Protective Services      Helps prevent or stop abuse, neglect, and exploitation of vulnerable adults.

Provo Police Department      Provides Spanish-speaking therapy groups and services to domestic violence victims.

Victim's Advocate Program      Assists victims of violent crimes with securing protective orders, reparations, and other support.

 

Substance Abuse

Alcoholics Anonymous and Al-Anon      Helps alcoholics and their families overcome alcoholism.

Utah County Division of Substance Abuse     Provides referrals and services for overcoming substance abuse.

Utah Tobacco Quit Line      Provides phone-based coaching and support for those trying to overcome a tobacco addiction.   

House of Hope (Provo)      Provides safe and confidential residential treatment for women with substance dependance.
