Food Assistance

Community Action Food Bank      Supplies food to families in need.

Food and Care Coalition      Serves hot meals to individuals who are homeless, low income, or transient, as well as providing other services.  

Women, Infants, and Children (WIC)      Offers nutritional counseling and food assistance for families.

 

Financial and Housing Assistance

Home Energy Assistance Target Program      Assists vulnerable families and individuals with their gas and electric bills.

Community Action Services and Food Bank      Offers emergency crisis assistance.  Services include rental deposit, first month's rent, and rent payment.  Also provides temporary sheltering service and housing counseling for families.

Department of Workforce Services      Facilitates employment services, Medicaid, food stamps, and back payment of some medical bills.

Housing Authority of Utah County      Provides affordable housing for low income families in Utah County.

Provo Housing Authority      Provides affordable housing for low income families in Provo.

Self Help Homes       Provides a sweat equity program to enable families to build a home.

Habitat for Humanity      Provides a sweat equity program to enable families to build a home.
